Seriously, this comic is all around fantastic!
I know im being stingy with the Werewolf face time, but I cannot just treat Slavery in its entirety as a mere backdrop for the story. Slavery is not a mere prop for Historical Science Fiction. I guess my twist is that this is about An Escape from Slavery in what was once considered an Escapist genre. Thanks to Octavia Butler, Toni Morrison and others for Bridging the gap between the two!

Totally! I wore the bubble out trying to find the right phrase. I had "that's my cue!" "that's it im ghost!" "gotta go!" and "hit me with the quickness Lord!", but they either didn't fit the era, or there were just too many words (often times the composition itself gets to edit the script, based on space on the page)
